Trade Pathways Africa
You are closer to your first
export than you think.
Most African SMEs do not fail to export because they lack a product worth selling.
They fail because fragmented systems, fear of failure, and the absence of sound guidance make the road feel impassable. It is not. I know the road. Let me show you the sequence.

Uche Austen,
Founder, Trade Pathways Africa
I guide African SMEs through the exact path from export readiness to their first completed intra-African transaction - so that fragmented systems, fear of failure, and the absence of sound guidance never again stand between them and the market that is already waiting for them.
I am a certified AfCFTA Trade Advisor, a qualification earned through the University of Nairobi, a trained facilitator on the AfCFTA Non-Tariff Barrier reporting mechanism, and a graduate of the ITC and Afreximbank Academy How to Export with AfCFTA programme. My advisory work is grounded in the real conditions of intra-African trade, not modelled from theory.
I believe the biggest barrier between African SMEs and their first export transaction is not money, not connections, and not the size of their business. It is one unexamined belief that the door is not open for them. My work and this book - exists to open that door.
